Track - The inaugural year of the track team attracted twenty 7th and 8th graders who participated in the Kilgore Middle School Invitational, Trinidad Relays and Hender- son Cub Relays. Mark Wylie led the Crusaders by setting meet records in the 1600 - meters in each meet with o best time of 5.01.2 Kenneth Richbourg posted ex- cellent times in the SOO meters intermediate hurdles with a 49.9 personal best. It proved to be o good year with all members of the team making contributions in the various track and field events. V B A. Chris Comeoux in.the shot put. B. Mark Wylie posts a record setting time.
