The scholastic competition involves quiz bowl, a spelling bee, Texas State Math Competition, and grades and conduct. The service included a Senior Citizen Luncheon, collecting soup labels for school equipment, and service projects for the school. A. Claybon's Homebase - 1st Place. B. 7rh-8th - OLYMPICS - Zfh-8th The T. K. Gorman Middle School Olympics is a series of competitions be- tween homebases which is sponsored by the Middle School Student Government. This year, for the first time, it was divided into two divi- sions: the 7th and 8th grade division and the 5th and 6th grade division. The Olympics provide intramural competition for all students in the areas of athletics, scholastic endeavors and service. A. Roberson's Raiders - 1st Place. B. Young's Warriors - 2nd Place. C.
