Student Government The Student Government, under the direction of Sr. Ann Bourke, had 33 members, the largest in the school's history. The group consisted of the officers of each class as well as three class representatives. Also included are represen- tatives from the various school organizations. Through Stu- dent Government, students may bring up problems which they feel exist in the school. The group may then work together with the faculty and administration toward a resolution. The T. K. Gorman Student Government continued its suc- cessful traditlon in 1964-85. The Student Government took on many difficult tasks, which all ended with much success. We started off with a terrific Homecoming week and dance followed by many other Important dances including the Christmas party and the Basketball Dance. This year along with our annual Walk-a-thon we also took on a new fund raiser. We met the new challenge of selling Christmas trees with vigor and excitement. Our efforts raised 52,000 for the Transportation Fund. All ln all, it was another great year for the T.K.G. Student Government. - George Tures, President - Student Government Members: Sitting: Laura Fowler, Cassandra Loftis, Henriette Joseph, Richard Tyer Lisa Fowler Charlotte Blinne 2nd Raw Jenni Calme Angle Wtebe Liz Corn S Ann Bourke Roger Bongtovannl Matt Shamburge Richbourg, Stephanie Saller, Janet Borel, Kendra Crow, Renee Rogers Grd Row Sponsor r E el n KII atrlck Back Row Kathy Snider James Slaughter Bobby Parish Jason May Diane R Alvarez, Jason Jonas, Steve Pope, George Tures, v y p Judith Richbourg, Martha Ramirez, Melanie Power, Mary Rogerson Not Pictured Bridget Maloney Estelle Johnson and Michelle Hall 116
