Reach Our for Excellence At beginning ofighis school year, Father O'Mara issued a challenge to feryone at one of our first masses of the year, and called it our theme for e year - Reach out for excellence. To emphasize his point he asked feryone to stand up on their toes and reach up as high as they could: me goals may seem high but if we stretch and work for them they can a reached. l Wim God's Guiding Hand . . . The Mass of the Holy Spirit, shown here, is traditionally the opening moss of the school year. At this mass we are envoking the spirit of God to be with us in the coming school year and to help us, the students and teachers, to use our gifts and talents for the good of the school and community. At this Mass all the teachers and educational personnel of the school and church are commissioned to use their gifts and abilities to guide the young people entrusted to them. A.
