Sports Banquet The Annual T. K. Gorman Sports Banquet was held on May 13, 1983, in the new Milam J. Joseph Community Center Building. Just prior to the banquet Monsignor Joseph Cpictured rightj presided over a ceremony in which a tree was dedicated in memory of late Billy Paul Chrietzburg, a man who did much for T. K. Gorman athletics. The highlight of the banquet was the awarding of the coveted Lawrence LaCroix Sr. Memorial Award to Gorman athlete Paul Procell. This award is given each year to an athlete selected from one of the three Tyler high schools. A selec- tion committee bases their selection on character, accomplishment, leadership, and moral fiber. This year's recipient, Paul Procell is pictured with Butch LaCroix as he receives the award. Cmiddle rightj Pictured below are all of the award recipients.
