Fac lr One of the most important aspects of any school is its teachers. T. K. Gor- man is very fortunate to have an ex- cellent faculty and staff who show a real interest in the students and are ready and willing to aid them in their learning endeavors. A. Mr. Adams, who is spending his 51st year as a teacher, concocts a potion in Chemistry lab. D. Sister Ann Bourke, who came to Gorman this year from Bishop Lynch in Dallas, is get- ting ready to begin her Physics class - one of four different subjects she teachers. C. Dale Cates, just recently minus his beard, tries to drum a little biology into the freshmen. Mr. Cates has been at Gorman for three years. D. Ken Coughlin, in his third year as a teacher at Gorman, enjoys a humorous moment with his senior theology class. E. Sister Margaret Mihm, who has ably taught business to Gorman students for the past three years, and, in addition. is NHS advisor, prepares a lesson for her economics class. New members on the faculty this year include Lonnie Tapp who came to us from Nebraska. He is a coach in addition to teaching American history and government. Mr. Tapp, casual as usual. lectures to his American history class. Another new face is Ms. Marlpat Putzer who arrived at T.K.G. from Wiscon- sin to teach English. Ms. Putzer, who is the newspaper advisor, takes an ac- tive part in many Gorman activities. The last of our new faculty members is Mr. Tommy Tomlinson or Mr. T as he is affectionately known.
