Bishop Thomas Tschoepe Bishop Thomas Tschoepe has been the bishop of the Dallas Diocese since 1969. During his tenure Bishop Tschoepe has visited the Gorman communi- ty on numerous occasions. He actively participated with us in the original ground breaking ceremony and in the dedication of our new facilities in December, 1982. His continuous support and guidance are an asset to the community. This year Bishop Tschoepe celebrated the fortieth anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood, and, according to the Texas Catholic, service is the word which best defines his 40 years as a priest. H i l Monsignor Milam J. Joseph Monsignor Joseph came to Immaculate Conception Parish in 1969. He has been a teacher and principal at T. K. Gorman High School. Currently he is the parish pastor and the superintendent of the Tyler Catholic School System. Monsignor Joseph was instrumental in the establishment of the new T. K. Gorman facilities and was honored this year for his efforts when the new Community Center was named the Milam J. Joseph Community Center.

Fac lr One of the most important aspects of any school is its teachers. T. K. Gor- man is very fortunate to have an ex- cellent faculty and staff who show a real interest in the students and are ready and willing to aid them in their learning endeavors. A. Mr. Adams, who is spending his 51st year as a teacher, concocts a potion in Chemistry lab. D. Sister Ann Bourke, who came to Gorman this year from Bishop Lynch in Dallas, is get- ting ready to begin her Physics class - one of four different subjects she teachers. C. Dale Cates, just recently minus his beard, tries to drum a little biology into the freshmen. Mr. Cates has been at Gorman for three years. D. Ken Coughlin, in his third year as a teacher at Gorman, enjoys a humorous moment with his senior theology class. E.
