Spanish Club ctivities By popular vote, Matilde Ramon and Joe Pratt were chosen by their classmates to reign as Chili Queen and Chili King at the Fiesta s p on s o r e d by the Spanish Club. According to Spanish custom the traditional pinata was the highlight of the enjoyment of the evening. Mrs. Betty Jo Finn, sec- retary of the school, crowned the royal couple. Queen Matilde and her partner, Miss Aura Munoz, natives of Cali, Columbia, enter- tains the Spanish Club withaSpanish dance, The Bullfight , at their banquet at which South American foods were served. Mc- Cullough. Emperor Bert Saleh was crowned by C.M. Haddad. A Roman Banquet was given by the Latin I and ll classes, unde r the leadership of their teacher, Sister Mary Lorita. In true Roman fashion, the boys were dressed in tunics and togasg and the girls in tunics with stolas or pallas.
