OUR PRINCIPAL REVEREND GEORGE G. HARRIS C.S.V. Dear Graduates: When the high school years end, some of you will be sad that what have been happy years for you are ending. For others, the end will be an occasion for tremendous joy that there will be no more boring classes to attend, no teachers to answer to. I suspect, however, for the majority that your feelings lie some- where between these two extremes. There have been good times and bad, joy and sadness during your years at Gorman. It would be strange indeed if it were any other way. Our hope is, however, that all of you will carry something positive with you as you begin the next stage in your lives. I sincerely feel that most of the teachers that you have had have been truly concerned with helping you to learn and to grow. It might very well be several years before you begin to realize this, but I am confident that most of you eventually will.
