Rene Henry Troxel was born at Willows, California, on the 11th day of December 1945. After graduating from the Willows Elementary School in june, 1959, he began his Freshman year at Bishop Gorman High School and received his diploma in May, 1963. A natural born artist, he began winning prizes for his art work in grade school and continued doing so during his high school years. Not satisfied with merely developing his talent for a future career, he insisted upon making use of it in most practical ways wherever he could benefit others. Rene' Troxel's span of life was brief but in that short time he accomplished what it takes others long years to do. Religion was for him no mere formula but a way of life. His interests were unlimited, his aims, high. He cheerfully gave of himself. his talent, his time, to those around him. As he accepted his life, so must he have returned it--thankfully, zestfully, and unselfishly. I5
