STUDENT COUNCIL (Sitting 1-r) Jane Mazoch, Jeanette Wick, Karen Lednicky, Donald Berger, Dianne Besetzny, Kathy Anders, Clar- ence Bubela, Judy Roeder, Mark Janda, Jennifer Cernoch, Phillip Hadash, (Standing 1-r) Cindy Klesel, Phyllis Lang- hamcr, Belinda Holub, Arlene Hoeinghaus, Sister Rose Frances, Janice Stryk, Dianne Mensik, Debbie Fietsam, Gary Krupala, Ronald Bohac, Ronnie Langhamer, Tracy Miksch. When we act as individual students, often we don’t have the time, knowledge and energy to exert a significant influence on the goals we would like to attain. Goals set by one person usually don’t get carried out. However an organized group of students working together can achieve much more and have a much greater influence on issues or projects impor- tant to them. An example of such an organization is the Student Council. The Student Council be- longs to the school and its student body and there- fore strives to involve all students in every aspect of school life. Our goal as the Bishop Forest Student Council is not to seem greater than the student body but to make them realize how important they are to the future of our school. We must work with them so that they can develop their own talents of leader- ship and service to our school and community. We take pride as leaders of our school but, we are no better than the rest of the students because the Stu- dent Council is the Student Body.
