SEHIORS Has it been four years since our first encounter with Fenwick? Is it really time for us to depart? Can our stay here be ended when our journey has just begun? Only yesterday we were freshmen, young and confused. Unsure of where we were going, unsure of what we would find, we tiptoed down un- familiar hallways begging to be invis- ible. We slipped into a crowded cafeteria praying for a friendly face or at least the chance to escape un- noticed. We felt the pain and fear of growing up. Still, we made friends, we laughed, we cried, had hopes, dreams and almost overnight, we be- came seniors. Now we walk away. We say good- bye. Our senior year has come to an end. Our applications, S.A.T.’s, Op- eration Charlie, times with Mr. Cur- ley, transcripts and Mrs. O’Hare, the parties, the prom, and graduation are all in the past. It is time for us to move on. We will not soon forget what we have learned here: trust, car- ing, love, and friendship. We are the class of 1979. We are the seniors.
