For whom the bell tolls “Brrrring!” The morning chimes rang awakening all for the beginning of a new school day. Many walked down the corridors mesmerized. Morning classes seemed to have a certain stillness. Seniors having study during first and second period had the luxury of sleeping late. “Coffee and donuts, anyone?” Second period study attracted growling stomachs to the cafeteria. Break time sent students rushing in all directions: the candy store, lockers, the office, and finally to homeroom to catch the latest school news. Classes resumed. The sound of growling stomachs could be heard again as lunchtime drew near. : - “Brrrring!”” The wait was over; Above: Trying to squeeze in a last few minutes d horied h of study before the bell, Cathy Schensnol students hurried to lunch. prepares for a first period test.
