Our newspaper was dubbed The Troubadourn in 1957 after numerous suggestions and voting on the part of the students. The name was chosen in honor of Gods Little Troubadour. St. Francis, the school patron. ln its initial year mrhe Trouhaclourn toolc its First steps under the direction of Sr. lvl. Claudine, l.H.lVl., and was published three times. The following year, Sr. Rita Nlary, C.R.S.lVl.. toolt the reins, and guided the paper through four publications and its enrollment in the Quill and Scroll, the International Honor Society for High School Journalists. The present editors, awarded scholarships to train at Catholic University in Wasliington, D. C., for the summer of 1959, have, with the staff and moderator, Sr, Nlary, presented seven editions of The Trouhadourn this year.
