,finnish fimwmni ii-I The Renaissance revival of learning became at Dunne a revision of learning method and attitude. Flexible modular scheduling replaced the old block system of time. Classes now met at alternating times for a variety of time periods. Resource periods were established for out-of-class course work. Such areas as the auditorium, cafeteria, and audio-visual rooms were utilized for large group instruction. Senior theology students left campus to work at various centers in the Dallas area, and students at large frequently enjoyed classes held outdoors on the campus lawn. Introduction - 9

A profound resurgence of creative impulse was made obvious by the production of five dramatic pro- ductions including comedy, musi- cal review, musical comedy and serious drama. The spring band concert highlighted a group that in not quite three years had grown into an award winning organization, and the school halls and grounds everywhere reflected the artistry and skills of our many students. 1.
