Hagan, Crosier staffers who held out to the bitter end, Tim Conder, Jim King, the Fowlers, and Miss Miller, whiled away their summer days 5 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to get the book finished for all the students who will ask on the first day of school, When ' s the yearbook coming in? The Falcon News Review was published by Mr. Tim Hyland and his sophomore En- glish class bi-weekly. It was begun several years ago as an information sheet given to Catholic eighth graders in the Dixie Highway area, but expanded to include the entire student body in its circulation. The paper was one page and covered the entire school scene along with articles about activities of the eighth graders at their re- spective schools. Its timeliness kept the school informed as to major athletic and academic events between issues of the school newspaper, the Flight. During the school year the members of the Photography Club captured on film vari- ous school activities. Mr. Clem, in his second year at the school, was the moderator. He taught the rookies the basics of photography a few days a week after school. Members of the club took photographs, developed rolls of film, and also printed the pictures used by the Flight, Falcon News Review, Crosier, and the local newspaper, the Newsweek. During the March Try-It-Week, the club took a field trip to the Fulltone Foto Co. and learned how they mass-produced picture prints, it 67 PUBLICATIONS

J. t. Center dees it again ! |n the fall of 1974, Junior Achievement began with four companies and carried away top honors in the city. This year there were so many students who wanted to participate in J. A. that 5 companies were formed in September of 1975, but by the second week the center had to expand to 6 companies. The six companies were JAVA, Jabicco, Copper Craft, CLIC, AMBISHUN, and Dynolite. Their activities began with the elections of officers of the various com- panies and participation at trade fairs at Bashford Manor, Oxmoor, and Greentree Malls. There were trips to Western Kentucky University, as well as, trips to the sponsoring companies, and also a lot of hard work on Monday nights on the bottom floor of the school. All these activities culminated on a hot Tuesday night, May 18, 1976 for what was called Senior Achievement at the Gait House at the annual Future Unlimited J.A. ban- quet. Col. Harland Sanders of Ky. Fried Chicken fame was the guest speaker and senior, Steve Wirth, gave the Annual Report Address.
