In a year when tensions in the community were high, with busing demonstrators lining the highway and na- tional guardsmen at neigh- boring high schools. Bishop David was a haven of sereni- ty for those first few months at the beginning of school. After all this was the year of our country ' s bicentennial. Spirit and pride remained the Falcon way of life and the students found that the Bis- hop David experience was the best teacher. Mmmm, boy, that milk is good! says Jody Leonard as he starts at the day with milk and doughnuts in the cafeteria along with quick cram- ming for a test. Not wanting to be out of fashion, Kevin Stoltz wears one of the latest fashion fads, a cap that is really with it , to a basketball game. 4 OPENING
