The baby falcons claimed their second straight city championship. They finished with a perfect 8-0 record. The first four games of the season set the pace for the rest for the team shutout all four competitors. The defense was the key to these shutouts, but the offense sparkled too. The team, in their fifth game, traveled to Trinity and were scored upon for the first time. The next game was a night time game at Jeffersonville, which proved to be an offensive bomb shell as Jeffersonville exploded with 18 points. The baby falcons met a very un- friendly crowd when they traveled to St. X for their second match with the Tigers. St. X scored one touchdown, but the falcons ended up on the winning side. The most exciting game of the season was the final bout with DeSales. It was the second contest of the season between the two schools and was played at DeSales. Again, the Falcons overcame the unfriendly crowd and pulled out the victory in the final seconds with a halfback pass from Joe Milliner to Gary Hooper for the score. iTt 41 FROSH FOOTBALL
