After four years wait it was V n May 16, 1976, in this bicentennial year, at 2:00 p.m. in Memorial Auditorium, 118 seniors graduated. Bishop Charles G. Maloney conferred the diplomas, with Mr. John Moll and Mr. Gerald Wilkinson assist- ing, and gave a short address after Mr. Moll delivered the formal graduation address. Mr. Moll ' s was a very moving talk. During a memorable moment he read a letter written to him by a senior who wished to thank all his teachers, especially his senior teachers. With the ceremonies complete, the presi- dent and vice-president of the senior class, Phil Mingus and Ron Borders, took down the school banner and presented it to the junior class officers, David Minton and Mark Gillespie. The graduating class of ' 76 then marched out of the auditorium with memo- ries of their four years together and then went their separate ways. 4 S FAR RIGHT: The customary handshake goes with the diploma as Bishop Maloney graduates Tim Jacobi.
