Sister Marie Elaine focuses most of her attention on the welfare of all the girls here at Conaty. Her concern for them and her ability to understand their problems shows that she is a uniquely generous individual. Like a strong, vibrant clasp at the end of a chain, Sister Marie Elaine helps to unite us. Without her indispensable service the bonds of unity might be held together by a string. Sister Marie Elaine. S.S.N.D. Dean of the Lower Division X f mt E Sister M. La Lande. S.S.N.D. Dean of the Upper Division Take my hand These words are from Sister La Lande's favorite banner which hangs in her office. When asked what she thought about it, she said, lt's something someone says to everyone-'l'Il lead you along the rocky road of learn- ing.' In short, when someone extends her hand it causes a chain reaction which transmits comfort and security. and eventually leads to God.

R W E l Reverend Gerald Tellers Vice-Principal In addition to his duties as Vice-Principal, Father Tellers is head of the Religion Department. This year he envisioned a vital and productive religion program that encompasses the objective of the school-to develop the full Christian person. By working to achieve this goal, the Religion Department helps the students to round out their religious education. At the same time, it aids them in acquiring a greater sense of responsibility, and a deeper understanding of the Church's teachings. 12 H - -4- , ' J - , H .
