As each senior leaves school, she leaves more than a mere building. She leaves behind her girlhood memories to enter the world of womanhood. The day will never come when she will be able to do funny schoolgirl things again - typing a carbon back- wards, swallowing her gum when threatened with a demerit, or filibuster' ing during a study. These things are gone forever. But the realization comes to us that we now possess something within that is beautiful and strong. That something is the joy and love we are now capable of giving to others. As we leave Colton to venture on our own, our hope and prayer is that we may, in our own small way, give this love and joy to a world in search of peace. Page 11
