Also, a paper by Dr. Ozsvath, Brecht's The Good Woman of Sozuan: Beyond Marxism, was included in the erran 111 section of the Kali 197b Southern Central Modern Languages Association (SCKLA) meeting in I leu:, tor.. - “ FIVE BISHOP STUDENTS ATTEND SESSIONS OF SOUTHWESTERN SOCIOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION Five Bishop College students attended sessions of the Southwestern Sociological Association held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Houston, April 12-15. A research paper by Dr. A. j. Mia, Lifo Sciencos professor, has boon accepted for publication in the Toxas Journal of Science. The paper deals with cell wall fino structures using the electron microscope and ultrasensitive techniques. Mia indicates that those techniques have not been appliod j by any author on coll wall studies. WILSON NOMINATED FOR TADC M. K. CURRY EXTRA-MILE AWARD Dr. J. Harrison Wilson, director of the famous BISHOP COLLEGE CONCERT CHOIF, has been nominated as a recipient of the M. K. C. J. HOWARD TO BE SPECIAL CONSULTANT FOR THE WYOMING CONFERENCE C. Jcricl Howard, associate professor of English, is to be one of three principal consultants for the annual Wyoming Conference on Freshman and Sophomore English to be held in Laramie, July 10-14. Howard's formal address for the conference is entitled: The Writer as Clone: Some Rhotorical and Moral Implications. He will also conduct two workshop sessions. Before going to the Wyoming Conference, Howard will teach during Bishop's first summer session. Immediately after the session, ho returns for a special Creative Writing program on campus. ROTUNDA BEAUTIES SPONSOR A REfBJBRANCE DAY FOR SECRETARIES The ROTUNDA BEAUTIES sponsored a remembrance day for the Bishop College secretaries by inviting all administrators, chairpersons, and other college officals to honor their secretaries during this week.
