Ka- tie Hines BALL GIRLS MAKE IT TO THE STATE QU RTERFINALS The I 98 I -82 girls' season was one of record breaking success. We took the Portage .IayCee Tournament 7 out of 8 times. We won Section ll of the Central Western Conference for the fourth year in a row with a I 5-I record. We were the District VI Class A Runner-up and went to the State Quarter-Finals. It was a lot of hard work and coach ran us ragged with her Yazonomics. The fun started on day I of camp - trying to do cals in front of the football team. Remember our great socks and shoes, Cathy's I go here fstomp, stompj you go there fstomp, stompj. Uh-huh and aiu 't a posta fSupposed to, Cathyj, Tazmanian devil. Space's great moods. Val's cheating on jump rope. Chrissy cheating on everything, Sandy's baby - the circle of advice. Val 's breaking school records. KelIey's shot and soup of the day. Silla 's brains , Space transferring to Northern, the GINGERBREAD VAN, the I 8th birthday at Southern Fulton. and finally, everyone's favorite games: Central and Marion Center. Who'd ever believe I I points in 59 seconds? God loves you, Cathy, Sandy defense Mehalko - holding Brice to 8 and Bebe to 5. Remember too, Lezanic's this much.
