NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The Bishop Carroll Cor Christi Chapter ot the National Honor Society is composed of iunior and senior stu- dents who have possessed and demonstrated tour basic qualities in their environmental life at B.C.H.S. These students have exhibited scholarship, with an academic average of not less than eighty-tive per cent, leadership and service as certified members of the subordinate Leadership and Service Clubs, and character, with an en- dorsement ot the faculty. For their annual project, the Cor Christi Chapter members have organized a vocational department in the school library. The officers of the National Honor Society discuss some 'Future plans with their advisor Fr. Gaus. They are: Diana Sharabaugh, secretary, Paul Malchesky, president, Carol Burns, vice-president, and Tom Palko, 78 treasurer.

The dream of a marching band at Bishop Carroll is fast becoming a reality. Our ambitious musicians have practiced many hours under the direction ot Mr. Clarence Hurrell and, by their splendid performance in the second annual band concert, proved this practice to be worthwhile. In addition, these same musicians have en- tertained at pep rallies and have provided moral support at footballgames. ln view of these achievements, we are anxiously awaiting the final moment when our band will represent Bishop Carroll in all the colorful, exciting moments ot regular band competition.
