Chair hope is ful! of immortality The underclassmen of Bishop Carroll High School are in their preparatory stages of becoming leaders, not only of Their school as seniors, but also of their country as intelligent Catholic citizens. Leaders are made, not born. They are the product of diligent effort, determined hope, self-inflicting sacrifice, and con- tinued perseverance. Their ultimate goal is excellence, in truth and in character. Thus the shadowed students at B.C.H.S., not yet possessing any titles, diplomas, or degrees ot success, honor, or achievement, are laboring and studying outside of the spotlight ofthe world to eventually become its guiding light. Since they are learning the truth and developing their characters through the educational processes of their school, they have an acute feeling of loyalty to Bishop Carroll High School in all of its endeavors, for it is, to them, theh' stepping stone into immortality.
