lbscficafion To our beloved teachers, the Sisters of the Dominican Order and Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, students of Bish- op Byrne High School gratefully dedicate this 1951 edition of The Christopher. During the four years of our high school these Sisters have labored unceasingly to instill into our minds the light of God's Truth to guide us in the way of Christ-like living. Intellectually, they have given us sound mental trainingg morally, they have guided us hy religious principlesg culturally, they have provided for us opportunity to develop the talents and abilities that are God-given giftsg and they have provided for us the means to develop physically by the use of healthful exercise and play. Their guidance has helped us to attain the goals of true Christian livingg their encouragement has helped us in the small difficulties of daily lifeg their example has inspired us in every moment of these happy years. In appreciation for their work for many years of teaching in St. James' and St. Mary's parochial schools and during our years at Bishop Byrne High School, we lovingly dedi- cate this third issue of THE CHRISTOPHER
