They put on a couple of short plays for Christmas. The first play starred Amy Murtha, Rodney Mader, and Cheryl Fomby. It was a touching story of a young couple's love at Christmas. The second was a play about Santa and his elves. lt stared Matt Labishak, Lori Albert, Sue Funa, Becky Glenn, Wendy Ridgeway, Lori Benz, Debbie Owston, Cindy Bezak, and Valerie Havasta. The plays were written by Lamont Arnold, who also directed them. Stage Manager was Robb Hyde, and Lisa Marino and Jenean Timmins took care of Make-up. Christmas Play 71 Pres. Each homeroom donated all kinds of gifts to families less fortunate. Student Council, under the moderation of Mrs. Hill, organized this drive which turned out to be very successful. Student Council also had the annual Send a Candy Cane which also was successful. But the most important thing about the Christmas of 1982 was that people came together and realized more of the true meaning of Christmas- -sharing.
