Boyle Homecoming 1971 means coming home --a return to what once occurred in the lives of students who attended Boyle. With this return, countless memories of the past are relived that will never be forgotten. This fact, combined with spirit and weeks of preparation, is what made October 15 and 16, homecoming week- end 1971, a most enjoyable affair. The activities began on Friday night with the vi- brant burst of flames from the bon-fire. The excite- ment was then carried to a dance in the school gym. Saturday, the day on which the football game was held, proved to be the highlight of homecoming for all. Not only was it a time when senior football players, cheerleaders, and band members were honored, but their parents as well. Even though we lost a fan- tastic game, it did not seem to put a damper on the evening. 24
