RACINE TRIP - Anticipating a chance to learn more about yearbook and paper publication, Susan Bruce, Kathleen Hogan, Elizabeth Bordeau, and Marybeth Raish are leaving for Racine, Wisconsin, where the Regional Press Conference of the Cath- lic School Press Association was held on November 19. 1 avrrr fr The highlight of the Valentine Dance sponsored by the Sodality and First Friday Club February 14 was the election of Baraga's Sweetheart. Elaine Bleau, freshman, won the title by an overwhelming majority, Immediately after the election, Elaine was taken to her throne, presented with a bouquet of roses, and crowned queen of the dance by Jim Wood, president of the First Friday Club. Elaine then crowned the Blessed Mother Everyone's Sweetheart.

CHEERLEADERS - Led by co-cape ains Charlotte Brainerd and Mary- beth Raish, Baraa's spirited Cheer- leaders enthusastically supported the Bishop Baraga team throughout the 1955-56 season. Forming a B for Baraga are: Charie Brainerd, Marybeth Raish, Margaret Britton, Carole schwemin, Judy Greenleaf, Mary Keast, Pat Goldsworthy, and BLUMERANGS - The Blumerangs completed a very successful high school career as champions in girls basketball and volleyball competi- tion, These champs are: Rita LaFave, Paddie Sloan, Mary Jane Balbierz, Sue Bruce, Judy Wake- man, Mary Robert, Charie Brain- erd, and Julie Balmes.
