They also repre- sent Bishop Amat in many parades and competitions throughout the year. OFFICERS: Jess Lira. Roy McDonald, Theresa Galindo. Peter Guzman. Stella Uyeno. Kris Contreras. Kath- leen Gannon. Theresa Tomasso CALIFORNIA SCHOLARSHIP FEDERATION The California Scholarship Federation is an organization which exists to distinguish the students that have maintained a 3.5 or better grade point average. This club is a combination of sophomores, juniors, and seniors who show strong leader- ship potential and possess high scholastic achievements. These students serve the student body of Bishop Amat by tutoring students. Some of the club ' s many activities planned for this year were C.S.F. Night at Disneyland, the publication of Reflections. and the making of Easter baskets. After four semesters of membership the students will gra- duate with honors. Being a member of C.S.F. benefits the students in such areas as scholarships, colleges, and future occupations. OFFICERS: Edeanne Link-Treas.. Karen Werner-V. Pres., Mar- garita Lontok-Sec. Susan Serdarusich-Pres. t i r a 1 1 V I CREATIVE DANCE The Creative Dance Club was estab- lished to teach its members the different styles of dancing. Along with their moder- ator. Miss Stanzione. the club works on perfecting basic forms of dance through weekly workshops. The members learn and share these different styles of dance. DRAMA CLUB Since olden times, people have had a need to express them- selves creatively, such as the traveling minstrel troops. Amat students aren ' t so different, therefore, the Drama Club is one of the largest clubs on campus. Aside from the performing arts such as singing and acting, production skills, such as set design, costuming, makeup and lighting are emphasized. The Christmas Show was the Drama Club ' s Christian Service project. The play included scenes from the Bible. Little Wom- en. A Christmas Carol. The Littlest Angel, and a Charlie Brown Christmas. The Drama Club ' s biggest production is the Spring Musical, which is Oscar and Hammerstien ' s Oklahoma. OFFICERS: Marianne East-Treas.. Ann Holbrow-Sec. Jeff Krause-Pres.. (not pictured) Laurie Cannon-V. Pres. FRENCH CLUB La Petite Comminaute Francaise d ' Amat is the French Club on campus. The pur- pose of the French Club is to provide a better understanding of the French lan- guage and its culture. The French Club ' s Christian Service pro- ject is to donate supplies for the homeless women of Skid Row. OFFICERS: Donna Tursini-Sec. Treas.. Maria Gonzales-V. Pres.. Mary Sulton- Pres. GIRLS ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION The Girls Athletic Association promotes the interest in athletic activities and devel- oping participation in sports as well as teaching sportsmanship, cooperation and service by providing spirit on camnus in student body activities and by participat- ing in team sports.
