PAUL 42- CIF 21 LOYOLA 20 14 MARINA 21 - This year our Golden Lancers played one of their toughest schedules ever. Eight of the ten teams Amat played went on to the playoffs. After winning four of five league games the Lancers face a tough Loyola Cub team in the first round of the playoffs. Amat emerged victori- ous and went on to face highly rated Marina the follow- ing week. On a water soaked field, the Vikings edged our Lancers 2114 with a last minute drive enabling them to score in the last 25 seconds of the game.
