Much like the knights of medieval days gone by, the 1981 Bishop Amat football team prepared in great lengths to do weekly battle against Angelus League and other CIF foes. Beginning with summer weightlifting. and continuing with three-a-day conditioning this was a team with only one purpose and that was to win the Angelus League Championship. Through hard work, dedication, blood and sweat the Lancers had a success- ful season which resulted in many thrills, memories and victories. Like the squires of olden days the Lancers learned a valuable lesson before entering the season and that was NOTHING TAKES THE PLACE OF WINNING! Top The Amal Sack Pack , led by Seniors Ron Brown.
