Administration f If if - , . i 1- , '. .1 Mr. Hemenway is the Assistant Principal, Moderator of Student Council and Director of Classified Staff. He also is a member of many committees such as Admissions, Administrative, and Exec- utive Councils. He is responsible for assisting the Principal in the effective administration of school operations. Mr. Montgomery, the Dean of Studies, has many duties. Some of them are the scheduling of stu- dents, registration of new and returning stu- dents, yearly curriculum development and revi- sion and graduation requirements for seniors. In addition to this, Mr. Montgomery is Head Basket- ball Coach.

Arch diocesan Administrators Provide Christian Incentive Reverend Jeremiah Murphy is Superin- tendent of Secondary Schools in the Los Angeles Diocese. Father Murphy was the principal here at Bishop Amat for three years. ln 1976 Father Murphy left Amat to assume the superintendent position. His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Manning, Archbishop of Los Angeles, was ordained a priest in 1934. In 1967, he was consecreated Bishop of Fresno. ln 1969 he returned to Los Angeles, and he was consecrated Archbishop of the Los Angeles Dio- cese in 1970.

She helps to enforce the dress code and takes care of disci- plinary problems.
