Class History In the fall of 1941, fourteen students started their education in the Bisbee Public School. In the first grade we had 7 boys and 7 girls. They were the following: Rolf Peterson, Elroy Madsen, Richard Lien, William Hendrickson, Jacky Kristensen, James Larson, Ernest Malmedahl. The girls were: Celeste Bishop, Kay Borvik, Vivian Gerrard, Darleth Bierman, Dorothy Cookman, Beverly Hier, Charlotte Keller. Our teacher was Miss Evensizer. In the secnnd grade we lost Ernest Malmedahl and Beverly Hier. Miss Evensizer was our teacher. In the third grade we gained two students: Elaine Lee and Virginia Pedersen. We lost Celeste Bishop, Kay Borvik, Rolf Peterson and Elroy Madsen. Miss Sillers was our teacher. In the fourth grade we gained four students. Marjorie Gerrard, Katharine Allard, Lorraine O'Brien and Beverly Hier returned to continue school here. We lost Virginia Pedersen. Miss Peterson was our teacher. In the fifth grade we gained three students: Myron Petsinger, Lydia Westemeier, Sheldon Schmidt: and lost Katharine Allard. Miss Smith was our teacher. In the sixth grade we lost Celeste Bishop. Miss Smith was our teacher. After six long years, we finally got to climb the two flights of stairs leading us to the seventh and eighth grade room where we began Junior High. We lost Beverly Hier. Mrs. Bretheim was our teacher. In the eighth grade we spent the first half of the year upstairsg later they moved us down where we occupied the old bandroorn. We gained a new student, Alf Pollestad. Mrs. Bretheim was our teacher. The following graduated from the eighth grade: Richard Lien, William Hendrickson, James Larson, Jacky Kristensen, Sheldon Schrnidt, Alf Pollestad, Darleth Bierman, Vivian Gerrard, Dorothy Cookman, Charlotte Keller, Elaine Lee, Lydia Westemeier and Marjorie Gerrard. We finally made it into high school and here we gained Marcia Larson and lost Sheldon Schmidt. Through the following years of high school our class has remained the same. Our teachers during our high school years were the following: Mr. Stanton, Mr. Melsted Mr. Humphrey, Mr. Ulland, Mr. Curtis, Mr. Bishop, Mr. Thachmond, Mr. Ellingson, Miss Svingen and Miss Hierath. a 15
