I am out of its clutches but I'll never forget, The things that I did there, the friends that I met. just yesterday the building was lighted up bright, People were laughing right there on that site. The signing of yearbooks, the shaking of hands, The principaI's speech telling of life's demands. The returning of textbooks and paying of dues, These are the memories I never will lose. Thinking back I remember how this year got its start, We entered its doorways heavy at heart. Frightened and wary of what this year would bring, For we were its subjects and it was our king. The fright did not last long and gone was our fear, A brand new subject entered our atmosphere. There were student elections to see who'd make the rules, And talk of a dance based on goblins and ghouls. After this season came the holiday rush, Yes, I remember and with such delight, The Winter Whirl held so near Christmas night. True, as you say, they'll return not again, But think of them, remember them, when you are men. f Now comes the time, as high school nears, Bimey junior High will remain through the years.
