PROPHECY Place: O'Hare Airport, Chicago, Illinois Time: The year 1976 Linda Kerscher and Dorothy Bultman both waiting to board a plane accidentally bump into each other. The conversation begins: Why, Linda Kerscher, what brings you here? I haven't seen you since graduation. Well, I haven't seen you, either, but I've certainly heard a lot about you. You married that famous men's hair stylist, Dennis Jensen, didn't you? And your've certainly gained much renown as a beautician yourself. Yes, we've been touring all over the world, and we've certainly had a thrilling career since graduation. And I've read quite a bit about you, too. If I remember correctly, you and Louise Kerscher met up with those twin boys, and had a double wedding. Isn't that right? Yes, it is. And now it seems you're competing with each other as to who will have the most sets of twins. You've already had your third set, if I recall. Yes, and they sure keep me hopping. The oldest set is only eight years old. Oh, by the way, what ever happened to your good friend, Teresa Matsche? She is now the president of the National Bird Watcher's Society. Did you hear that Ron Stankowski and Jerome Karpf are running a pool hall two and a half miles north of Birnamwood on Highway U5. Now that our high school days are over we feel a little sad that w 're leaving B. H. S. , our friends, and the good times we've had here. At our first class meeting we elected our class officers as follows: Loraine Pietz, President; Steve Ki 'ball, Vice-pre-ident; Kristy Peterson, S cretar;,; and John Knauf, Treasurer. We were initiated by the Sophomore class during the first week in October and we cave them a return party the next month. A year later as Sophomores, we sponsored the Freshmen Initiation and they cave us a return party. During the latter part of March we ordered our classrines. Our last project of the year was the Post Pr m held on May i8, 196I4.. Now as Juniors we were anxiously waiting for the day when we would receive our ciassrings. That day was Seotember 23, 1 961+ - Our Prom was held April 30, 1 65 It was entitled Theme From A Summer's Place and our king was John Knauf. He chose as his quen, Loraine Pietz. Roger Allen and his orchestra laved. The gym was decorated with a hedge of cedar and a multipastel colored ceiling and walls. In the center of the crym was a larce wishing well. Our last year finally arrived and we started the year by chosing our class officers and annual staif. On October 6, 1965, we went to Wausau to have our graduation Dictures taken. We have chosen blue and white as our class colors and the white rose as our flower. We selected the Northernaire as the high point of our Senior year for our class trip.
