Gteinke The Girls Glee Club of Birnamwood High dchool participated in the Christmas Concert held at school This spring the Club will sing at the following; District Music Festival, April 13, held at khite Lake, the Tri-county Music Festival, May 9, neld at Greshman, and at tne Bpring Concert held at the oirnamwood Gymnasium Junior Prom 19 5 8 The Junior Proa was held Hay 16, 1956, in the Birnarawood High School Gymnasium. The theme song xted Sails in the Sunset was played by Iynn Winch and the Buss Nelson Orchestra during the Grand March led by the King, Herbert Dickman and the yueen, Janet Schreurs. The gymnasium was decorated in blue and white streamers. The bandstand was in red and wnite streamers. Minature sailboats served as centerpieces for the red and white trimmed tables. A golden sunset was the background for a large red and white rocking sail boat. The King and Queen, Herbert and Janet, were crowned by the 1957 King and yueen, Barbara Brounacker and John Warpehawski.
