We'll all go forth, some far, some near For some there will be strife. Some will go onward and upward To the highest field of fame, Some will start slipping, go backward, But, do not be put to shame. V.e'll find a path or make one, We'll follow the narrow way. Until our goal we have won At the climax of life's day. We'll all have to battle with hardships, But don't lose your grasp or let go, For we have a guide and a leader, Who will help us o'er come the foe. We will all be contented and happy, When we've found a path or made one. When we will put our cares aside For our battles we have won. —Merna Schoenike -11-
