A PILGRIMAGE TO THE WHITE SANDS- It is a blur ... Houseparties — a lost weekend? Perhaps. More like a pilgrimage to the white sands, burning-blistering, or to the vast ocean, twilight-smooth. worthwhile? Who is to say. For some it seems to be a release for the frenzied mind that views spring quar- ter with a wince acquired from winter. And yet ... memories become clinched into the bitter-sweet be- cause of too few tender moments remembered— or too many. It is a blur ... and yet ... there is a time and place for everything under the sun.
