DEAN SHANKS As Dean Henry T. Shanks tends to all the details of ' Southern life, his assistants may find him down the hall with the Chan- cellor or sending out the Dean ' s List. Sand- wiched in his busy day are not only official duties as Dean of Students, but history classes and Honors discussions. ADMINISTRATION N. M. YEILDING Treasurer Mr. Yeilding turns his friendly efficiency toward college finances — million dollar grants and soap powder. Supervising all money problems, Mr. Yeilding keeps ' South- ern in the black, straightens out complaints, and finds campus jobs for a huge number of students.

AND THE CHANCELLOR It would be hard to imagine second-floor Munger or ' Southern in toto without the bustling activity created by Dr. Guy E. Snavely, who seems equally expert at remembering names, raising money, entertaining students in convocation (with or without Miss America) or selling his book The Church and the Four Year College. As first Chancellor of the college. Dr. Snavely sets a hard-to-top example of service and ability.
