We, Taloma Allen and Cecil Camp, leave our happiness between fights to Ralph Wall and Anita Waites. I, Bobbie Goff, bequeath my 'Grapevine twist' to Corrie Morris, Keep the swing up Corrie. I, james Blankenship, bestow my ability to get caught by a woman early in life to Tommy Abbott. I, Mildred Greener, leave my long brown tresses and position as editor ofthe Annual to Wanda Cole. fl suppose I should give Nita Waite's uncle back to her, but l'm not ...... ...J I, Kathryn Clemens, will the roasted mouse in locker 012.7 to Carrol Hall, whose appetite is unlimited. A I, Mary Etta Paul, do bequeath my ability to go steady with three different boys at the same time, to Wanda McNeal. I, jack Ferguson, leave my ability to hold my temper to Cecil Car- penter. I, Margaret Walker, give my long fingernails and curly locks to Barbara Hamilton. I, jerry Neidholt, leave Lois Paul to anyone who has adiamond not in use. I, Charles Ferguson, confer my optimistic attitude, my ability to get along with Mrs. Everett, and my 'all-round' school girl figure to Billy Wiseman. I, Bobby Bell, leave my loud ways to Wayne Gardner. I, jimmy Williams, leave my excellent conduct grades to Donald Coggins. I, Helen Little, leave my personality to some deserving individual. CLASS WILL We, the class of 1947, about to pass to a greater task than the one just completed, the intricate xnechanisluns of our anatomy and over-,f worked rninds still functioning, but out spirit still unconquered, do' ordain and establish our last will and testament. ' Though endowed with the somewhat questionable charms bestowed upon us by Mother Nature, we refuse to be entirely selfish and exit with them all. Therefore, we bequeath them, in anxious anticipation that they will be appreciated, employed for what they are worth, and treasured above all property of Birdville High School, to those we leave behind these enurnerated are: Item I: To the faculty, to whom we have devoted twelve strenuous years of our life in faithful servitude, we bestow our sincere appreciation gud gratitude for their unyielding efforts and patience in training these distraught minds. Item ll: To our superintendent, W. G. Thomas, We present three months free time before he takes up the full-timejob of being the faith- ful attendant of the Senior class of '48 as he has been of the class of '47 To him we are deeply and truly grateful. To Mr. W. A. Porter, our principal, coach and friend, we leave this heart-felt ode: I-Ie's our peaches, He's our cream, I-Ie's the coachie Of our team ....... Item III: We, the students ofjournalism class, being of unsound mind, will our complete estate including the ability to chew gum, talk and sell papers, to any twenty feeble-minded juniors. I, Bobby Blankenship, award my popularity with the opposite sex to Doris Mitchell. I, Mollie Dean Lawler, give my title of 'Honey' to the bees. I, Doris Walker, bestow my short chubby figure to Wanda Ritchey. I, Chester Hill, leave my position as treasurer to anyone mathemati- cally inclined and who has a strong mind. I, Idotha Daniels, leave all my new friends to Thelma Hayes. I, james Waller, leave my skating ability to anyone who is adept at thr ee-point landings. -Q
