Senior Trip Early Satttrdasy tnorning, May lO, we the Senior Class of l 58, left on our Senior trip, our destination-- The Bishop's Lodge, Santa lie, New Mexico. .Xfter eating a sack lunch at noon in Colorado Springs, we toured the Chey- enne Mountain Zoo. Our next stop was Raton, New Mexico, where we spent the first night. Several of the Seniors attended the tnovie Saturday night and few tried sotne Mexican food. Sunday, the Seniors attended services at the Raton Methodist Church. We ate dinner in Taos, New Mexico, Sunday noon, and then on to Santa Fe. We arrived at The Bishop's Lodge Sunday evening where we were QLYCSICU by our hosts, Mr. and Mrs. james Thorpe, Jr. After a very delicious tneal at the lodge, we attended the movie in Santa lfe. Monday and Tuesday were spent swinnning, horseback riding, playing tennis and shuffleboard, sightseeing, s opping and bowling. Tuesday evening, we were enter- tained with a steak fry on the patio by the swimming pool. We all agreed that we had never eaten a more dclicious tneal. Wednesday, after breakfast, we regretfnlly said good-bye to the lod e and ottr wonderful hosts. We ate din- ner in glayton, New Mexico and then drove home through the Oklahoma panhandle.
