Class Prophecy iCont'dD Margola is the proprietor, owner, cook of it we have a nice friendly chat with her and gather band to take care of her yet but is very nice to us and gives us a ing in the restaurant, we see Lee supper He is still working for that she has not gotten any hus then there is always time S e meal fr e of charge While eat Sunderland come in and order his the BEA and running after Doris Elley, who is a very elusive little character We wish him all the luck in the world but that won't do much good if she isn't willing will it? Doris works in the Dry Goods Store as a clerk and so she is in town all the time Maybe she wants Lee to chase her?9?? After supper we go back to our room and prepare to go to the supper when we get there we find that Don Overturf and his wife Janette Haile are already there We find that he is farming on the Charles Overturf farm They seem to be happy and quite successful To share their joy with them there are a boy and a girl All of a sudden there is a rush at the door and a tall girl with lots of fafcy clothes and a very attractive look comes into the Gymnasium We recognize Nelda Pantler after a moments thought and find out from Don that she caught up with one be, that is if she the room He is a is still chasing the men but she has not quite of them yet I wonder who the unlucky one will ever catches one We see Kenton Elley come into big man now, not at all like he used to be H is just about ready to challenge the champ, Joe Louis, and we wish hlm all the luck in the world, and he will probably need it The hall is slowly filling up with former classmates most of whom we have already met in the day. There seems to be something strange because there is one man that we do not recognize. We ask Don who he is and he tells us that that is Radean Reade, who went to Texas after he graduated, put all his money in one gamble and hit it rich in the oil fields. He finally married a girl from Texas and we saw that he made a very good choice as he had brought her along and we had the privilege of seeing her. Mr. Hetzler, our sponsor in the Senior Year, is also here. He told so many stories of the absent minded professor that he has become one at Columbia University in New York City. Just before we are ready to sit down at the table to eat we hear an airplane come into the airport and wonder who it is. We cannot think of anyone that is absent and are gladly surprised when Yvonne and Jim walk in. We learn that he is now that he had a game that afternoon that he won that game. He had to home. In case you are interested and who knows about the future. banquet talking over old times and head coach at Kansas State and and we are also happy to learn leave the rest of his family at he has four boys and one girl We had a very nice time at the when the time came again to say good-by, we were very sad indeed but it was nice while it lasted. And so even as we said good-by to each one, I will also close this and say good-by to you. O . h 9 Q O C . U U I Q I I 'I 4 o . I l O e C
