MMJSt Missy Bird Karen Hudec Cari Jekel 1985 Homecoming Queen. On the cold evening of Friday, October 11th five senior girls waited in breathless anticipation as they were introduced along side of their fathers. A hush descended over the crowd as the announcer said, ...and the homecoming queen for 1985 is Miss Cari Jekel. the 1984 queen, Sheri Johnson, stepped down and placed the crown on Cari, the new home- coming queen. Cari is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mitch Jekel,8050 Woodhall Road. She summed up the evening by saying, This night will be remem- bered forever. fHQ®g JOS The Sophmore Sweetheart Court: Kristen Barrett, Theresa Cherry, Jennifer Garfield, Michelle Ball, Anna Hauck. Sophmore Sweetheart Jenny Garfield and her escourt Mark Weston. The escourts of the Sophmore Sweethear Court: Mark Weston, Darrin Eichenhofer, Robb Cook, John Hobson, Mark Lawson, Paul Fielding. The night of February 8,1986 brought the crowning of the 1986 Sophmore Sweet- heart. The winner was Jenny Garfield, who was elected by her fellow classmates the class of 1988. She was traditionally crowned by last years Sophmore Sweetheart, Lisa Pennington. Jenny's escourt for the evening was Mark Weston. Mark was very proud of Jenny and her accomplishment. The rest of the court and their escourts were also proud of Jenny.
