HONOR STUDENTS VALEDICTORIAN Eugene Du ran s.e au Two boys earned top scholarship honors in this year’s senior class at Birch Run High School. Eugene Duranseau, 17 son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Duranseau, was named valedictorian with an average of 3.5 of a possible 4. Dale Schumann, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schumann, won salutatorian honors with 3.392. Kenneth Gray took third honors with 3.321. Eugene was vice president of his class during his junior and senior years. He was manager of the track team as a junior. He is editor of the school annual PANTHER TALES and a member of the Student Council.
