The goal of every chapel is that it would be a spiritually refreshing, en- couraging, and strengthening time for students and faculty. They are times of inspiration, fellowship and instruction, but they are meant to serve primarily as a time when we can worship our Lord. The chapels are designed not to allow students to be spectators, but to in- volve them so that they will worship to- gether as one body. Every chapel emphasizes a particular theme, and often a series of chapels will center on the same theme. The Science Bible Emphasis chapels, the film series, Whatever Happened to the Human Place , and the Cult Evan- gelism Seminars were representative of this. Musical groups and drama teams provided creativity in chapels. Speakers from all over the country provided instruction and inspiration. Cadre chapels-which split chapel time into ten smaller group chapels this Spring Semester-provided a unique time of fellowship. The vision for chapels this year was that they would become vital to the student-applicable to every area of his daily life. Chapel 27
