PRESIDENT CHASE Reflections - A college administrator has many. Although the year seemed full of memorandums and meetings, there was notable progress. The following are illustrative: The National League for Nursing granted accreditation to our baccalau- reate program in nursing. This was another tangible evidence of the growing academic stature of Biola. l972-73, as with each academic year in over a decade, set a new high in enrollment. But more important, quality students came who gave clear indication that they are capable of blending ear- nest Christian commitment, serious thought and a good time in one life. A new master plan for the physical campus was also completed. It holds promise of better use of our property. And a new committee began serious deliberation on an academic master plan for the challenging years ahead. But as we catch a reflection of the past in a mirror, we can also see our own image in that mirror and note the effects of time on ourselves. Hopefully, we are all for the experience of the past, clearer on the goals we must achieve and firmer in our resolve to serve a Lord who so fully demonstrated His love for us throughout the past academic year.
