BIOLAN DedicaTed To Bill Bgnum Dr. Bill Bynum gives of his Time, his abiliTies, and his very self in order To mainfain meaningful relaTionships wifh sTudenTs, fellow workers, and people in general. His Teaching is done wiTh concern ThaT his sTudenTs mighi learn and be able To uTilize The maTerial in Their lives. NoT only does he Teach, but he is also The Di- vision Chairman of ChrisTian Educa- Tion, MinisTer of Music aT Calvary Church in SanTa Ana, and Vice Presi- denT of The PTA in his school disTricT. Much of his Time is spenf in consulTa- Tion wiTh sTudenTs and in seTTing up new programs of all kinds. Born in Abelene, Texas, Dr. Bynum moved To California and later grad- uafed from CompTon High School. He was offered a full four year scholarship To UCLA, however, in- sfead he aTTenoled Biola College. Lafer, he affended California BapTisT Seminary aT Covina and graduaTed wiTh an MRE degree. Dr. Bynum Then applied To SouThern BapTisT Theo- logical Seminary in Forf WorTh, Tex- as where he laTer graduafed wiTh a DRE degree. ln 1960, he was asked To join The faculTy aT Biola College and head up The ChrisTian EducaTion DeparTmenT. During his eolucaTion, he served as direcTor of Chrisfian EducaTion and Music for several Churches. IT was in 1965 Thaf he was honored by being chosen as one of The OuTsTanding Young Men of America. Dr. Bynum and his wife Joanne have a family of four. They have Two sons, Jim 14 and Larry 12, and Two daughTers, Geri 2 and Teri 1. Dr. Bynum is Truly a man who has forgoTTen self and remembered firsT ChrisT, and Then oThers.
