For years he has played The piano Tor the Church of the Open Door, taught music lessons at Biola, and played the bells morning, noon, and night. Mrs. Hooker attended Bio- la, but graduated from the University of California at Berkeley. She has Taught in the Christian .Education field at Biola since 1937. The Hookers, by Their faithful, steadfast, immov- able labor, have been in- strumental in The salvation of literally hundreds of souls Throughout the years. They have been the en- couragement of many Christian workers and leaders, The teachers of many soldiers of Christ, and the prayer backers of many children- of God. We have made plans, drawn dummies, appointed sTaTfs, arranged Tor a Thousand pictures, written copy, lost sleep and made enemies. But has iT been worth The effort? definitely! This wasn'T a one man job Tor we had a great deal of assistance . . . A few of Those who contributed were more Than just helpers. The Lord gave us a loyal, hard-working staff, which did a splendid job at The deadline hours. The inspiration and encouragement of our publisher, Mr. Hubbell, of The Yearbook House, Monrovia, were also deeply appreciated This year. Our phoTographer, Mr. Flanigon, deserves our highest praise Tor his wonderful cooperaTion. Above all we are keenly aware That God has been with us, guiding us and answering each of our prayers in a marvelous way. Our race Too is finished Tor The year and iT is with Thankful hearts ThaT we write This, our last page of the book. Your Tired editors, Margaret and Rachel -fX I I 15154.
