NATIONAL STUDENT ASSOCIATION Our campus NSA Committee really came into its own this year. It has been active both on campus and in Regional af- fairs. Harpur again secured a Regional office when Jack Sulli- van was elected Treasurer. Our USG has been the Guiding Light among Harpur students since the days of TCC, This year we of USG have had the privelege of working under the very able Presidency of Jack Sullivan. A successful Retreat was held at the beginning of the year and many good suggestions, such as enlarging our NSA committee, were brought out, During the year the USL- sponsored such very suc- cessful affairs as the Student-Faculty Re- ception, the Mistletoe Ball and the annual Spring Weekend. In carrying out student suggestions, we have been able to extend the library hours and keep the student loungc open seven days a week, Because of the success of the USG's AAUP committee on course evaluation last spring, this program is to be continued this year., We hope that future USG's will be able to enlarge upon this and other programs.
